He is survived by: his children, Lionel (Joni), Brenda Sousa (José) and Candice Schropp (Tim); his grandchildren, Justin Sousa (Liana), Chris Sousa (Shauna), Steven Sousa, Rory Saxby, Megan Barnes (Steven), Kaitlyn Lloyd (Riley) and Dalton Schropp; and his great grandchildren, Ceilidh Barrett (Richard), Keredyn Hay, Jonah Sousa, Emilia Sousa, Jillian Barnes, Lucas Barnes and Augustus Lloyd.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Regina Memorial Gardens.
