With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elma Schlechter (Regina, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 1, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard; her parents, Anton Ottenbreit and Mary Ottenbreit; her daughter Connie; her granddaughter Cassandra Quinlan; her siblings, Johnnie, Chris, Aloysuis, Emil, Richard, Betty, Tillie, Martha, Eva, Mary, Annie and Theresa; and her siblings-in-law, Bill James, Fred Frank, Peter Herperger, Theresa, Mary and Evelyn.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne (Anita), Brian (Jane) and Cathy (Dave); her son-in-law Bob; her grandchildren, Jason (Nancy), Cory (Carolyn), Lee, Ryan, Shaun (Shanda), Jade (Elaina) and Kristen (Devin); her great grandchildren, Joseph, Adam, Rachel, Kailee, Tate, Sadi, Jylee, Kadince and Heidi; her sister Anne Herperger; her brother-in-law Eugene Gonczy; her niece Charlene; and her parents-in-law, Ed Schlechter (Peggy), Mary Tocker and Noreen Schlechter. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
