We announce the death of Eva Nikkel of Regina, Saskatchewan, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 95. Eva will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich A. (Henry) and Helena (Helen); her husband Bill Nikkel (Cleo); and her siblings, Melvin, Selma, David, Ernest, Mary, Esther, Ivan and Rosa.
She is survived by: her sons, Gene Nikkel (Carol) of Yukon, OK and Tyler Nikkel (Abby); her grandchildren, Vince, Ian and Tau; her great grandchild Kimberly Cotter (Matthew); her daughter Vickie Andres (Dennis, family: Chryseis Casanova) of North Newton, KS; her grandchildren, Victoria, Melayne Casanova, Josalyn Hunter and MaKenna Goben (Reno); her sons, Robert Nikkel (Lanita) of Weatherford, OK and Ethan Nikkel (Cara); her grandchildren, Lumen and Walker; her son Reagan; and her grandson Leo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the R. L. Lockstone Funeral Home (210 Custer St, Weatherford, OK 73096). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home (210 Custer St, Weatherford, OK 73096).
