Florence Schmuland Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2020, at the age of 92, Florence Schmuland (Regina, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Herbert; her parents, Louis Rathgeber and Barbara Rathgeber; her brothers, Victor, Ernest, Walter and Edward; and her granddaughter Brianna.

She is survived by: her children, Glenn (Barb), Bob (Lucille), Brenda Embury (Harvey), Kathy Bahsler (Dave) and Jerry (Laurie); her siblings, Alvina, Violet Davis (Allan), Gladys Moncks (Dave), Alvin (Pat) and Norman (June); her sisters-in-law, Eileen, Nancy and Audrey Govinchuck; her grandchildren, Moira (Jonty), Brian (Erin), Bryce (Chanda), Nevan (Jenna), Kendra (Tyler), Kayla (Jay), Kristin (Fred), Danielle (Jon), Taryn (Jinho), Brock (Chelsey), Haley and Karis; her great grandchildren, Maddoc, Malcolm, Macsen, Linden, Ayana, Arie, Adelyn, Cheya, Lenah and Paisley; her friend Marion; and her husband Herb. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, her many "adopted" grandchildren.

Her last days became ones of extreme loneliness due to the self-isolation required of the COVID-19 community restrictions, but she was committed to do her part.
