He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Smallshaw; his parents, George William Smallshaw and Augusta Lillian Smallshaw; and his sister Ruth Rea. He is survived by: his children, Brian George Smallshaw, Janet Ruth Smallshaw of Toronto, ON and Joan Elizabeth Smallshaw of Regina, SK; his grandchildren, Jessica Collins, Leh Smallshaw, Misty Nova, Brendan Conway and Tess Smallshaw; and his great grandchildren, Devon MacNeil, Jax MacNeil and Lenny Conway.
