Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Garnet Jack Ulmer (Regina, Saskatchewan), who passed away at the age of 73, on July 15, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Ulmer (Parr) and Frederick Ulmer; and his siblings, William "Red" Ulmer, Larry Ulmer and Grace Wasmann.

He is survived by: his close friend Laurie Ulmer; his children, Lauren Russell (Andrew) of Springfield, Missouri and Nathan Ulmer; his grandchildren, Emberlee, Noah Ulmer, Talia, Ellie and Isaac Russell; and his nephew Bill Ulmer. He is also survived by two sisters; and many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association in Garnet's name.
