We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2021, Gaylene Byrnes (Regina, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ivan Ridgway and Florence Ridgway; her parents-in-law, Mary and Walter Byrnes; her brothers-in-law, Bob Mihalicz and Ken Byrnes (Marion); and her grandson Tom Lax.

She is survived by : her children, Don (Roberta), Dale (Kim) and Cheryl Wiest (Mark); her grandchildren, Angela, Nicole (Justin), Jason (Carly), Jared (Hayley), Jordan (Jenna) and Jayla (Marshall); her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Corbin, Violet, Easton, Charleigh and Davis; her sister Marilyn; and her husband Elwood Byrnes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, their in person "tea" time has been replaced by many hours each week on the phone.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gaylene may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation, Alice Beach Park Fund (Resort Village of Alice Beach Park Fund, Box 70, Dilke, SK, S0G 1C0) or a charity of your choice.
