He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maxwell and Annie Pearl Baxter; his wife Ethel; his brothers, John (Elaine) and Gordon (Muriel); and his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Baxter and Earl McCorriston.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Johnston and Richard (Corinne); his grandchildren, Jacqueline and Daniel; and his siblings, David and Betty McCorriston.
