He was predeceased by: his wife Mavis Yingst; his parents, Marjorie Yingst and Orville Yingst; his parents-in-law, Freda and Steve Semchyshyn; and his siblings, Maurice, Larry, Lois and Janice.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sharon Juell (Norman) and Beverly McMullen (Allen); and his siblings-in-law, Kay, Rosemarie and Scott Summerfeldt. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and friends.
He arranged to visit Mavis through the window at her nursing home during the COVID 19 pandemic.
