She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Donald J. Hutton; her parents, James Murray and Henrietta Chrysler; and her siblings, Margaret Caldwell Lorne Murray (James) and Robert Murray.

She is survived by: her children, Murray Hutton, Gary Hutton, Heather Hutton and Nadine Ganong; her grandchildren, Wendy Blacke, Stephen McFarlane, Damien Hutton, Christine Ganong, Nicole Ganong, Amber Larson, Dana Larson, Lindsey Larson, Katie Ganong and Dakota Larson; and her great grandchildren, Leland Hannant, Charlotte Ganong and Darwin Gassner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She even knitted and donated tiny hats and sweaters for premature babies.
