She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregory Johnson and Francis Johnson of Ogema, Saskatchewan; her son Michael Vierling; and her grandson Hawkley Vierling. She is survived by: her husband Merlin; her children, Tanya (late Michael Vierling), Lucas (Jacquie) and Kayla (Tony); her grandchildren, Montana, Porter, Trulee, Jakob, Mina, Jacob, Joseph and Gwendolyn; her brother Dennis; and her nieces and nephews, Karianne and Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Moose Jaw Humane Society.
