He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Derkatch and Fern Derkatch; and his siblings, Emil, Peter, Tom, Victor, Ernie, Anne, Edna, Margie and Tena.
He is survived by: his siblings, Walter, Michael, Minnie, Jennie, Mary and Linda; and his roommates Brian W.. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
