He was predeceased by: his parents, George Apps and Jean Apps; his sister Doreen; his brothers-in-law, Elmer Curtain and Harold Dietrich; and his parents-in-law, Rose and Jacob Dietrich.
He is survived by: his significant other Elfrieda of Regina; his daughters, Wendy Malcolm (John) of Regina and Patti Emch (Davi) of Birmingham, Alabama; his grandchildren, Sean Malcolm (Melanie Robertson) of Regina, Amber Bateman (Scott) of Calgary, DeAndra Bobrow (Remington) of Birmingham and McKenzie Weider (Quinton) of San Antonio, Texas; his great grandchildren, Jack, Cash, Malachi and Lennon; and his brother George Apps (Deborah) of Calgary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
