He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Selby and Madeline Selby; his brothers, Glen Selby and Norman Selby; and his siblings-in-law, Allan Oslie and Margaret Selby.

He is survived by : his wife Janet; his children, Colleen Beattie (Mark) and Trent Selby (Jaydeen); his granddaughters, Katrina Skinner (Joshua) and Jesykah Kavanaugh (Colin); his great grandchild Olivia Skinner; his siblings, Betty Oslie, Len Selby (Gail), Lorna Ford (Pat) and Murray Selby (Pattie Griffin); and his pets, Maggie and Callie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
