He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen and Clinton; his stepmother Norma; his wife Joyce; his siblings, Lorna and Dale; and his brothers-in-law, Bernie Drake, Fred Whiskar and Ray Fischer.

He is survived by: his children, Roxanne, Dean and Jill; his siblings, Eleanor Fischer, Joyce Whiskar, Val Liogier (Didier), Willard Richards (Helen) and Doug Richards; his sisters-in-law, Darlene Richards and Diana Richards; and his close friends, Heather and Brian Lowe.
