She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne; her son Murray; her son-in-law Valentin; and her grandson Michael. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Suzanne), Deanna, Miles, Dwayne (Erin), Bartley (Christine), Brent (Chantalle), Shawn (Vivian) and Darcy; her siblings, Yvonne (Larry), Brian, Collin (Elsie), Blaine and Lo-Ann (Ron); and her sister-in-law Denise. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends so wishing may make a memorial donation in Ione's name to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre.
