She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Matsyk (Tom); her parents, Frank Lang and Mary Lang; her brothers, Wilfred, Joseph, Gary, Alfred and Frank; her brother-in-law Gerald Mengel; and her nephews, Jeffrey Mengel and Kirk Lang.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Peterson (Martin), Calvin Matsyk (Rachelle) and Colin Matsyk (Alison); her sisters, Gloria Mengel, Kathy Sawatzki and Mary Ann Fredricksen (Karsten); and her sisters-in-law, Judy, Margaret, Joan and Iris. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
