Irene Perentes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2025, Irene Perentes (Regina, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Perentes; her parents, Vasilios Karahalios and Maria Karahalios; her siblings, Lambrini Kokonas (Jim), George Karahalios (Marty) and Aspasia Roumeliotis (Nikolaos); and her siblings-in-law, Stavroula Giannaris (Andreas) and Panayioti Perentes.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Perentes (Vivian), Bill Perentes (Fay) and Tasia Lygouriatis (Christos); her grandchildren, George, Maria, Ilias, Constantina, Theodore, Katerina, Stavros and Irini; her brother Lyle Karahalios (Cassandra); and her siblings-in-law, Bill Perentes (Bernice) and Maria Perentes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church (3000 Argyle Rd, Regina, SK S4S2B2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
