He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Rayanne Maier; his parents, Bill and Effie; and his siblings, Bud, Gordon "Tiny", Jean Dixon and Wilma Whitnack.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his sons, Rick Martin (Debi) of Regina and Terry (Susan) of Glen Harbour; his sister Janny Sutherland (John) of Peachland, BC; and his sister-in-law Lorraine of Regina. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
