He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Janet Kissick; his children, Christina Johns (Allen), David Heerschop (Ada) and Peter Heerschop (Sheila); his grandchildren, Brittany Dusyk (Ceane), Jacob Johns and Caderyn Heerschop; his great grandchild Jace Dusyk; his sisters, Anneke, Ria, Tineke and Leny; and his parents, Piet Heerschop and Everdina Kujier. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
