We announce the death of James Alan Langen of Regina, Saskatchewan, born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 30, 2026, at the age of 90. James Alan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his son Joseph; his parents, Sam Lester and Sarah Lester; his in-laws, Joseph and Mary-Jo Rohatyn; and his sister-in-law Pearl Langen.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Darrin (Kim), Brent (Janet), Trevor (Judith), Jennifer (Will), Scott (Kate) and Christie (Rob); his grandchildren, Nathan (Cecilia), Kirsti (Galen), Emily (Kale), Reed, Kai (Brittany), Chesney, Rachel (Dylon), Sydney (Holden), Chloe (Evan), Lily (Dave) and Roux (Nick); his great grandchildren, Alessia, Aurora, Emerson and Isabella; his stepgrandchildren, Chantell (Garrett), Steven, Jessica (Steven), Sophia, Madeline, Lucas, Angie and Gesson; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Andre, Royce, Quincy, Keon, Denzel and Burkley; and his siblings, Gerald, Rosemarie and Bill.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church (3239 Garnet St, Regina, SK S4S1X8).
