We are sad to announce that, on August 23, 2023 we had to say goodbye to James Edward Aho (Regina, Saskatchewan), born in Rorketon, Manitoba. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James Edward Aho to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga and Edward; his husband Scott Schlosser; and his sister Linda Smerch. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Aho (Teresa) and Amanda Agelopoulos (Mike); his grandchildren, Keaton, Andrew, Britton, Lena and Aeson; and his sisters, Audrhea Lande (Lori), Debbie Luke (Bernie), Ginny Aho (Lorne) and Sandra Aho-Procyshyn (Wes). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and an entire community of close friends.

He is remembered for his selfless contributions to the city and province, being an ambassador, leader and promoter of this great place we all call home.

“I first met Jim in the mid 1980’s. He had written a script for what would turn out to be and international award winning tourism film called Sunspirit, Saskatchewan. When complete, little old Sask was knocking off giant tourism destinations like Hawaii at film festivals. We continued to work together over the years. I knew him to be one of the nicest people that I met in my life. He was always happy, positive, genuine, encouraging. Jim will be missed by anyone who had the opportunity to meet him”
