She was predeceased by: her husband Jaspert Pieter Buyze (Jack). She is survived by: her children, Jane, Sandy (Dave) and David (Sandra); her grandchildren, Kurtis (Kelly), Olivia (David), Grace (Pete) and Kaleb; her great grandchild Hunter; and her siblings, Hendrik (Darlene) and Anneke. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and very close friends.
