We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2022, at the age of 99, Jeanne Tweten (Regina, Saskatchewan), born in Amiens, Picardie passed away. She was predeceased by : her former husband Marlowe O. Tweten; her husband Andrew T. Joerissen; her daughter-in-law Donna Tweten; her son Roger; and her son Alvin.
She is survived by : her children, Phil (Tyma) of Calgary, Ralph (Richael) of Calgary, Reg (Ruth) of Regina and Janet Craig (Doug) of Regina; her daughter-in-law Carol Tweten of St. Albert; her step-daughters, Marie Mosca, Debbie Martin of Calgary and Patti Joerissen of Regina; and her caregivers, Christie, Jolene, Emily, Pauline, Jodi, Sarah, Ashley and Dr. Kyle McDonald. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren.
She marched with the veterans every November 11th and was featured on the CBC National news in November 2020 talking about Remembrance Day during Covid.
