He was predeceased by: his former wife Jane Gee; his parents, George Gee and Sue Gee; and his brother Chuck Gee. He is survived by: his sons, Hartland, Archie (Bev), Edgar, Ivan, Calvin and Darcy (Renai); his grandchildren, Malia, Kai and Meagan; and his sister-in-law Helen Chin. He is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
