She was predeceased by: her husband Ron; her granddaughter Krista Walterson; her parents, Ernest Teske and Emma Teske; and her parents-in-law, Tony and Mary Meyer.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Walterson (Laurie) and Stephen Meyer (Hannah); her brother David Teske (Sheila); her grandchildren, Alyssa Crompton (Nick), Aric Walterson, Anthony, Daniel and Aaron Meyer; her great grandchild Everly Crompton; her niece Rebecca Teske; and her nephew Michael Teske.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joan to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan or the Canadian Cancer Society.
