He was predeceased by: his parents, Karen Lere and Jule Lere; his sister Bertha Lere; and his niece Lynn Vander Muelen. He is survived by: his wife Carol Lere; his children, Bob Lere, Don Lere (Lois), Paula Castling (Tim), Gennine Richardson (Dan Therrien) and Nadine Williams (Wayne); his grandchildren, Amanda Butler (Brett), Julia Graham, Sam Graham, Matthew Castling, Melissa Castling (Aaron Henson) and Miranda Richardson; his great grandchild Ryder Henson; and his siblings, Charles Lere (Chuck) and Ruth Cyca.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory to the King of Life Lutheran Church in Coquitlam, BC would be appreciated.
