With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Joseph Eckert (Regina, Saskatchewan), born in Abbey, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 1, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Isabel Eckert; his parents, Anton and Elizabeth; his siblings, Ben, Paul, Ronnie, Clem and Irene; and his granddaughter Larissa.
He is survived by: his friend Laurie; his grandchildren, Katie (Brett), Sarah, Johnathan (Jamie) and Sydney (Caleb); his great grandchildren, Molly and Brooklyn; and his siblings, George (Lorraine), Tony, Georgina, Gwen, Florence (Donald) and Freida (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
