Jose Desjarlais Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jose Luis William Brian Desjarlais, age 40, of Regina, SK on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Jose was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Irene and Bill. He is survived by his mother Teresa (Bill); siblings Fatima, Raymond and Mercedes; aunts, Tracy, Lisa, Nora (Curtis) and Tanya as well as numerous family members and friends.
Jose enjoyed playing sports of all kinds. He was a joy to be around and was full of energy. Jose was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis as a young man. Jose did not allow MS to diminish his spirit. He continued to fight this horrible disease to the very end - always with a laugh and a smile.
Jose will remain the brightest light in our lives as he lives now in our hearts.
A funeral service will be held at Lee Funeral Home, located at 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan, on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 11:00 am.
A graveside service will take place at the Desjarlais Family Cemetery on Piapot Indian Reserve, Saskatchewan, on January 5, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
