We announce the death of Joyce Ryan (Regina, Saskatchewan), who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 98. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Joyce will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Joyce will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Joyce’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Hockley and Ada Hockley; her husband Myron; and her son Bob. She is survived by: her children, Rae Schier (Barry), Kim Ryan (Arla), Sandi Ryan, Pat Chobot (Doug) and Barb Ryan; and her sister-in-law Mair Hockley. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and their spouses; 26 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church (3239 Garnet St, Regina, SK S4S1X8).
