He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Károly Szabó and Etelke Szabó; his brother László; his mother-in-law Erzsébet Busa; his siblings-in-law, József Busa, István Oroszlán, Géza Hajdu, Margaret Kiss and Éva Garics; and his son-in-law Gilbert Marshall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Violet Baulin (Richard) and Eva Marshall (Shawn Besler); his grandchildren, Mitchell Marshall (Amanda Baron), Kaleena Baulin (David Hall), Jennifer Marshall-Harker (Landen), Brittany Flegel (Brandon), Andrew Baulin, Ashely Marshall (Patrick Sullivan) and Kelsie Konecsni (Dylan); and his great grandchildren, Brier, Brooks Flegel, Veyda, Raeka Harker, Charleigh, Felix Konecsni and Nora Hall.
