She was also cherished by numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Donations may be made in memory of Katherine to the Saskatchewan Alzheimer's Society, or to the Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Women in Trades and Technology (WITT) Program, which provides pre-employment training, networking, and awareness programs for women.
