She was predeceased by: her father Peter Greif. She is survived by: her husband James Syrnyk; her children, Matthew Syrnyk (Carolyn), Zachary Syrnyk (Jayde) and Rachel Syrnyk (Reuben); her mother Cecelia Greif; and her siblings, Peter Greif (Lynn), Harvey Greif (Donna), Robert Greif (Maria) and Wendy Gauthier (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in memory of Kathy may be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan or a charity of their choice.
