He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Wolbaum and Peter Wolbaum; his siblings, Delores, Ron and Bob; and his former wife Gail Lipinski.

He is survived by: his children, Chad Wolbaum (Connie) and Jaymie Dovell (Ryan); his grandchildren, Deklen, Erik, Kerr and Emily; his sister Rosanne Pellerin (Kevin); and his close friends, Butch Bridges and Lynn Berglund.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
