He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Forrester and Gladys Shorthouse; and his stepmother Alvina. He is survived by: his wife Matilda; his daughter Jill (Roger Petry); his grandchildren, Jonathan and Christopher; his sons, Glen (Reagan Haus) and Trystan; and his siblings, Alan, John (Darlene), Ethel (Jim) and Maggy (Earne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make memorial donations in Lionel's name to the Dr. Paul Schwann Centre, 3737 Wascana Parkway, Regina, SK, S4S 0A2.
