He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Backlun and John Albert Backlun. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Sherry Foster (Justin) and Steven (Felicia); and his grandchildren, Mia, Mason, Brooklyn and Lincoln. He is also survived by numerous cousins, in-laws and friends.
