With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Hanson (Regina, Saskatchewan), born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 30, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Appenmaier (Emma Appenmaier) and Emma Appenmaier; her siblings, Paul Appenmaier and Maria Jones; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Hanson.

She is survived by: her significant other Eric; her children, Kenny Hanson (Tanis), Janea Hanson and Jeremy Hanson (Erin); her sisters, Christine Nicolet and Paulette Culbertson; her great grandchildren, Sassy and Charlie; and her close friend Krystyna Kuzyk. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
