With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel (Maria) Maier (Regina, Saskatchewan), born in Kayville, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 24, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Waldemar Maier; her parents, John Ursu and Genova Ursu; and her siblings, Nick Ursu (Mary), Rudy Ursu (Flossie), Minnie Druszcz (John), Lenora Woods (Robert), Virginia Brandt (Johnny), John Ursu (Violet), Anna Massini (Tony), Rosetta Ursu (Danny), Jeanette Weiss (Allen) and Joseph Ursu (Shirlie).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hanley (Lyle), Linda Kautzman (Edward) and Gordon Maier; her grandchildren, Jason (Sherri-Ann Hanley), Trevor Hanley (Richelle), Colleen Swain (Scott), Michael Kautzman (Centaine), Cheryl Sakowski (Fraser) and Matthew Kautzman (Savanagh); her great grandchildren, Taryn, Colton, Grayson, Emma and Corbin Hanley; and her grandchildren, Maksim, Wyatt, Reille Swain, Lincoln, Linnea and Nikolas Sakowski.
