She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Schatz and Catherine Schatz; her husband Joe; her son Brian; and her siblings, Leonard (Fran) and Arlene (Paul).

She is survived by: her children, Elaine Korinetz (Brian), Lorne Kurtz, Murray Kurtz (Marilyn) and Carla Windl (Tony); her grandchildren, Robin (Scott), Ashley, Ryan, Shawn (Chelsea), Dustin (Jessica), Darci (Bobby), Joel, Michaela and Drew; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Reece, Brody, Jaxon, Noah, Xavier, Khloe and Jack. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
