She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur; her parents, Gustave Banerd and Katherine Banerd; her siblings, John, Gus (Clara), Jacob, William, Karl Banerd, Eleanor Plunz (Walter), Helen Schmidt (George), Barbara Krieger (Frank), Margaret Rathgeber (Bill) and Kate Schienbein (Phillip); and her brother-in-law Val Keller.
She is survived by: her son Virginia Shyluk of Victoria; her sister Gary Hack of New York; and her grandchildren, Gilbert Hack (Judy Mathias), Cathy Wagner, Julie Hack, Vern Hack and Clara Keller of Melville, SK. She is also survived by spouses and partners; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends.
