She was predeceased by: her parents, John Eberle of Ukraine and Rose Mary Eberle of Kendal, SK.; and her siblings, Nick Gorniak, Betty Tworkowski, Eileen Linder and Marge Bousfield.

She is survived by: her former husband Robert Shipley (Bob); her child Terry Shipley; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Samantha; her son Trent Shipley (Teresa); her grandchildren, Alysha and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Mya, Tristan and Emma; her daughter Holly Bardutz (Patrick); her grandchildren, Stephen and Emily (Taylor); her husband Ross Powell; and her siblings, Agnes Weisgerber, Doreen Chickowski (Lyle Nolan), Joan Stephen, Bill Gorniak (Shirley Melnyk), Norman Gorniak (Susan), Bernie Gorniak (Cindy) and Delores Gray (Greg Cochrane). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
