She was predeceased by: her husband Byron Tastad; her parents, Waino Kemppainen and Emmi Kemppainen; her parents-in-law, Gustav and Hannah Tastad; her grandchild Kaylan Young; her siblings, Harvey Kemppainen, Arvo Kemppainen, Marion Pawlivsky and Toivo Kemppainen; and her in-laws, Evelyn Olson, Jennie Ferkingstad (Jonas), Gudrun Jackson (Tamer), Peder Tastad (Ruth), Ed Tastad (Mary), Norman Tastad (Eunice), George Tastad and Walter Tastad (Muriel).
She is survived by: her children, Bev Tastad (Archie Gee), Carolyn Tastad (Robert Young) and Allyn Tastad (Pattie); her grandchildren, Michael Tastad (Amy Gill), Morgan Young (Jackson Pfeiffer) and Kara Tastad (Ceena Shirafghan); her great grandchild Cyrus Shirafghan; her siblings, Wilma Fielden (Roy), Norman Kemppainen (Eleanor) and Alice Dare (Rick); and her in-laws, Alice Tastad, Barb Kemppainen, Brenda Kemppainen, Phil Pawlivsky and Lyla Kemppainen. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (190 Massey Rd, Regina, SK S4S4K2). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Skudesnes Lutheran Church.
