He was predeceased by: his son Curtis; his parents, Basil Materi and Leogadia Materi; and his siblings, Jean, Anne, Peter and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Dona (Mike), Doug, Wayne (Sandra) and Joe (Carol); and his siblings, Tillie (Al), Roy (Connie) and Joseph (Irma). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
