She was predeceased by : her husband Frank Meickel; her former life partner Elmer Katchuck; her parents, William Dimen and Bertha Dimen (Kolb); her siblings, Albert (Adeline), Betty Voeltz (Ashley), Rose Galenzoski (Erhart), Helen Gall (Louis) and Bill (Elaine); and her sister-in-law Jean Dimen.

She is survived by : her siblings, John (Marian), Leonard (Martha), Gloria Petrovicz (Earl) and Peter; her children, Marilyn Hornoi (Bryan) and Marvin Meickel (Darlene); her grandsons, Mark Meickel and Keith Hornoi (Cheryl); her great grandchild Matthew; her grandchildren, Denise Hornoi, Steven Meickel and Erin Meickel (Mark Nolte); and her great grandchildren, Dominic Nolte and Logan Nolte. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
