She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive and Cecil. She is survived by: her brothers, Gary (Karen) and Irvin (Diane); and her nieces and nephews, Scott, Jason, Luc, Marc, Lara and Leigh.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mavis may be made to the Regina Humane Society, 4900 Parliament Avenue, Regina, SK S4W 0T7.

“My condolences to the family on the sudden loss of Mavis. She was my friend for 25 years and a work colleague for a significant chunk of that. Mavis was very proud of her family and in particular often spoke of her nieces and nephews with great pride. You should know you meant a great deal to her. In my experience, Mavis was not one for too much sentimentality so I know she would expect us to carry on, and make good use of the time we have, but truly, I am going to miss her.”
