He is survived by: his parents, Fekadu Beyene and Haimanot Tekleab; his wife Tirhas Mekonnen; his children, Thomas and Lidya; and his siblings, Ruth, Binyam, Aaron, Robel, Henok and Senayt. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the St. Mary Eritrean Orthodox Tewahdo Church (4205 7th Ave, Regina, SK S4T0P8). A funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery (815 Assiniboine Ave E, Regina, SK S4V1A6).
