She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Richert; her daughter Carol Ann; her parents, Aksel Nielsen and Marie Nielsen; and her siblings, Ejvind, Esther, Ruth, Lillian, Gerhardt and Arne.

She is survived by: her son Keith (Teresa); and her grandchildren, Melissa (Steven), Matthew and Michael. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
