He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Peter Miller and Magdalena Mary (Vogt); his brothers, Hugh and Patrick; and his brother-in-law Greg Ryan.
He is survived by: his sisters, Irene Ryan and Joan Miller R. N. D.; and his sisters-in-law, Loretta and Mary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
