She was predeceased by: her parents, Don McBean and Marguerite McBean; and her sister Kathy Milne. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Kostron and Jennifer Thomas; her grandchildren, Tyler Kostron (Abby), Julia Day and Jenaya Kostron; her siblings, Diane McBean and Murray McBean; her brother-in-law Rod Milne; and her close friend Barb Riley. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Nancy's memory.
