She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael Kolenchuk and Annie Kolenchuk (Fedyk); her children, Myra Froc (Gene), Corinne Shalley (Terrance Straker) and Trevor Shalley (Belinda); her sister-in-law Lucille "Lucy" Kolenchuk (Dorish); and her husband Myron. She was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.
